Dr Sindhu Parthasarathy is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, having first gained a Bachelor of Biomedicine, and then a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2017.
Throughout her training, Sindhu worked in both public and private clinics. She completed a rural rotation in the Gippsland town of Moe, where she developed a particular interest in preventative dentistry, endodontics and special needs dentistry.
Sindhu is passionate about oral health promotion and took part in a dental volunteer program in Cambodia in 2016. This program involved educating locals about the importance of oral health and of obtaining basic dental treatment.
She has also worked within the Smokefree Smiles program, an initiative of Dental Health Services Victoria, which gives training and support to oral health professionals providing interventions to patients who smoke.
Sindhu is a strong believer in patient-centred care and strives to achieve a relaxing environment in the dental surgery.
